Today was a good day.  I had my camera with me because on Thursday a guy had spat on me and having a camera with me may help document any future incidents.  Having the camera meant that I caught a photo of a bald eagle at the top of a tree!  I did not know that we had bald eagles here.

I had several favorable and friendly interactions.  I think the number was 3 or 4.  At one point, there was a gal on the north side of the lake who asked what my sign said and took a photo of it, and then a photo of the reverse side of the sign.  She said she would be putting the photo or photos on facebook!

Another was from a gal on a bicycle who made a “oo!” sound and then, when I said, God bless you, she gave me a thumbs up.

Another was from a woman driver near when I was nearly done with the walk . . .  She honked appreciatively and then waved or made some other nice gesture.

Here are photos of the eagle and of myself.  I learned in the process of viewing these photos that I probably should have used 2 right rotation on them at the beginning.  For the first several I used no rotation, and then I tried 4% and that made me look as if I were falling over.  2% seems about right . . .

Also, I have had compliments on this look and I can see that it is quite nice, though on this day, my white undies were a bit more on the right than on the left, at least when viewed from behind!
