The Berkeley public library and being liberal

The main public library of Berkeley has some computer screens on one of the main reception or consultation areas which face outwards and play public service messages or education of note.

Yesterday one of the screens was teaching people the list and meaning of the five pillars of Islam and a screen next to it was a message from CAIR on how to respond if you are a Muslim who is being approached or bothered or threatened by some person for the sake of one’s Muslim faith.

Ha, ha. The Muslims need protection from people who might persecute them . . . though it is in fact the case that some act badly towards the Muslims.
