I walked at Greenlake today, Thursday, two circuits.
Two boys separately asked to hold the sword. One of them was with a female friend who took his photo on a cell phone.
Later, a set of young men of college age asked about it and then to see it and then suggested I plant it in the ground. Around this time, one of them took out a somewhat short folding knife and also planted it in the ground and we took photos of the sword and the short knife. Ha!
Near one spot I was walking from water towards the walking path and a dad and girl-kid were walking towards the water. The girl sees me and says, “Is that a knife?”
I said, “This is a sword.” So, how young would a youngster be to understand the meaning of knife but not have seen swords? I don’t know.
At East Greenlake beach, there were several persons at the end of the pier who waved to me while I was on the land on the walking path. Their wave seemed to be of an appreciative or friendly way. I am not sure if we have met yet, however! Maybe I should have walked out to greet them on the pier!
Here are some of the fun photos!
