I walked at Greenlake today.
At the beginning of the walk, a man and woman couple both said hi!
Last week there the hoped-for free-range kids day of Lenore Skenazy. I wrote that the day before there were a group of about ten kids who had greeted me and done photos with me. Today there was a group of four running or roller-blading past.
There was a couple of women running past who choose to split themselves and each of them run on opposite sides of me. I thought that was nice and prayed that God bless them!
About 2/3 of the way through the walk, a man greeted me and we were chatting for a while. At one point we were passing by a woman who was stationary by the path and he said to her, “He needs a hug,” and she came forward and we hugged! God bless her and God bless him! How nice!
There was some other favorable interaction for a total of about six people, if I recall correctly, but I don’t remember the details of the last nice greeting!
At one point, there was a man who was taking a photo of me with a cell phone!
